Welcome to Coolum heARTS. We are pleased to have you on our website. Coolum HeARTs is a not-for-profit organisation that offers access to the arts by people living with physical and intellectual disability, mental health issues, domestic violence, depression, effects of drug and alcohol abuse (family members also) and social isolation.
We are an inclusive organisation that welcomes anybody who would like to participate.
Coolum HeARTS runs creative workshops in art, drumming, choir, mosaics and meditation amongst many other things. These workshops are designed for the community to benefit and they are extremely low cost. Coolum HeARTS focuses on the benefits of the individual and seeks to create an open and warm community, where people do not feel isolated or excluded. Feel free to look around our website and check out the workshops we run. We look forward to hearing from you or seeing you at a workshop in the future.

What participants are saying:
“I have been coming for twelve months and have discovered so much about myself and my ability to create, it is just wonderful. One of the huge benefits for me personally is that I suffer a great deal of pain from rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and spending time being creative helps me put the pain to one side and focus on something else, which builds me up and broadens my horizons.”
“I am no longer lonely, isolated and depressed so much.”
“I love Coolum HeARTs because it has given me lots of friends, a chance to sing my heart out for myself and others and to continue painting to express myself. I can be myself when I am at Coolum heARTs.”
